Mr. Nguyen Kim Anh was assigned to this position in February 2015. Prior to that time, he was General director of Department of Personnel and Organization, State Bank of Vietnam. He used to be Vice President of Banking Academy.
Mr. Nguyen Hong Truong was a member of the Standing Committee and Vice chairman of the People’s Committee in Nghe An province. In 2007, he took the job at Ministry of Transport.
Mr. Vu Viet Ngoan has been at this job since 2011. He was formerly Vice Chairman of National Assembly's Economic Committee and CEO Vietcombank. He has a PhD from La Salle University and has more than 20 years of experience in finance and banking industry.
With more than 30 year working experiences in payment industry at the SBV, Mr. Bui Quang Tien directly involved in building the automated clearing model, payment model, accounting mechanism, clearing process in terms of inter-bank electronic payment in Vietnam, as well as, in building and implementing the Non-cash payment project for the period 2006 – 2010 and orientations for 2010 approved by Prime Minister.
Mr. Tran Huu Linh was assigned this position in June. Before that, he was General Director of the Vietnam E-commerce and Information Technology Agency at MOIT.
He has over 10 years experience in e-commerce. He plays an important role in defining policies for e-commerce development in Vietnam, as well as, deploying activities for building infrastructure, promoting e-commerce development and managing information technology application in industry and trade.
With 25 year working experiences in finance, before taking charge of current position as Deputy Chief of the Ministry’s General Department of Taxation, Mr. Nguyen Dai Tri was Deputy General Director of State Treasury. He has a lot of important contribution for finance industry in deploying information technology application and promoting e-payment in public services.
He was appointed to this position since October 2015 and now leads the project for electronic toll collection in Vietnam. He is also the head of Science Technology Department, General of Directorate for Roads of Vietnam.
Mr. Doan Thanh Hai has about 20 years of experience in banking information technology. He is currently in charge of operating national interbank electronic payment system. With long experience in this field, Mr. Hai has made major contributions in promoting online payment and information technology applications in Vietnam’s banking sector.
Before taking that job at Department of Transportation Ho Chi Minh in August 2015, Mr. Cuong was Deputy director of the Department for nearly 5 years. He was also Director of Ho Chi Minh Management Authority for Urban Railways.
He is a civil engineer and helds master’s degrees in technology, public administration. He has long experience in developing online payment system for transportation.
Mr. Yamamoto has been working at JICA Vietnam since 2013. He used to work at ORIX Corporation (Japan) and Japan Bank for International Coorperation.
He involves mainly in private - public partnership (PPP), project finance and private sector. In the last 10 years, he has worked in nearly 20 countries, at various positions, from project manager to lead technical advisor.
Mr. Bellens has a BA in Business Economics and an MBA from Insead. He has over 18 years of top management consulting experience in global financial services. Prior to joining EY, hewas in a top management consultancy role in McKinsey & Company.
In the last decade, he has supported the executive teams of leading Asian banks in growth strategies and multi-year business transformations. He has counseled banks in defining their strategies and supported their implementation with investments, acquisitions and ambitious organic growth initiatives.
Mr Mortimer-Schutts is Regional Leader for Retail Payments and Mobile Banking in East Asia, International Finance Corporation (IFC), member of the World Bank. Ivan is a specialist in financial services development, with business and policy experience, having worked in the private sector, in economic and regulatory policy and with Microfinance NGOs.
Ivan joined the IFC from BNP Paribas, where he led retail and mobile banking strategy and development initiatives for emerging markets. Also at BNP Paribas, he led implementation of new European financial market legislation for the Group Compliance Team. Prior to that he was in charge of financial sector regulatory studies for the Groupe d’Economie Mondiale, led operational business developments for a pan-European start-up in on-line retail brokerage services and was a consultant with EY Germany to investment banks.
Sean Preston has more than 20 years’ experience in the banking and finance industry covering credit card portfolio development and management... He is responsible for all aspects of Visa’s business in these fast-growing emerging economies. Sean served as Vice President for Visa’s business in Southeast Asia, based in Singapore. Before commencing his work with Visa in Asia, Sean served three years as the company’s Country Manager for New Zealand. During this time, Sean was responsible for a number of achievements including the introduction of Visa Debit and the continued growth of Visa’s business in New Zealand.
Mr. Dung has 23 years of experience working for State Bank of Vietnam in the area of Banking Information Technology. His background in informatics, economics and management has enabled him to succeed at several positions from Vice Manager, Manager and Deputy Director of Banking Information Technology Department.
In 2014, he was appointed as the Chairman of Vietnam National Financial Switching Joint Stock Company (Banknetvn), now known as Naptional Payment Corporation of Vietnam (Napas), and helped the Company to successfully complete the merger with Smartlink in April 2015.
Under his leadership, Napas is currently undertaking several important international and national projects, contributing to transform Vietnam payment market and to promote non-cash payments.
Mr. Vu Quang Lam is in charge of VETC, founded to be the first company in Vietnam investing and running ETC based on RFID technology. He used to be CEO Tasco and work at Song Da Corporation.
Mr. Tran Cong Quynh Lan has 15 years’ experience in information technology. He joined VietinBank in 2012 and is currently both Deputy General Director and Head of Information Technology Centre. He is responsible for building solutions for controlling credit risk, information security, and implementing payment functions for the e-channels such as Internet Banking, Mobile Banking …
Joined BIDV in 1997. He was appointed Deputy Head of Credit Risk Management in March 2009, Deputy Head of Investment Banking, Transaction Center 1 in October 2010. In April 2012 he was Head of Credit Risk Management and Head of Corporate Banking in April 2013. He was appointed Senior Executive Vice President of BIDV on 15 January 2015.
Graduated with a Master’s Degree in Economics from National Economics University, he held various positions in Global Markets at Standard Chartered Bank Vietnam, Citibank Vietnam, Citigroup Global Markets Ltd Hongkong. He was appointed to the position of Head of Treasury and Financial Markets Division in January 2011.
Mr. Tran Nhat Minh is currently Vice CEO, cum Head of Digital Banking of VIB. Previously, he was in charge of business technology and operation of VIB. Mr. Minh was one of the people laying the foundation for digital banking in VIB.
He graduated from Moscow University of Energy and obtained a Doctor of Science and Technology from Moscow University of Telecommunications and Informatics and a Master of Business Administration from the International Institute of Management LINK, Russia.
Starting his career in Vietcombank, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Long was appointed to be Deputy Manager of Retail Banking Department. He then worked at Smartlink Card and joined Banknetvn in 2015 as a result of the merger completion between two companies.
Holding the position of Deputy General Director of both Smartlink and Banknetvn (now called Napas), he gained success in projects to build up an unique banks payment network across the nation, provide e-payment services, expand benefits to card holders and effectively encourage the development of non-cash payments in Vietnam.
Mr. Tran Huu Duc was the youngest director in FPT Software when taking the job at Software Development Center 5 in 2001. From 2010 to 2012, he was CTO of FPT Mobile Applications. Since 2013, he has been CTO of FPT Trading and member of FPT Technology Council.
Mr. Nguyen Hoa Binh is chairman of NextTech-group (formerly named as PeaceSoft). He is considered one of the first entrepreneurs founding a tech company in commerce – online payment sector in Vietnam.
Mr. Nguyen Van Thanh was Deputy Chief of the Ministry’s Department of Directorate for Roads of Vietnam. He was Vice-Chairman of Vietnam Automobile Transportation Association from 2010 to 2013. He is also the expert contributing so much to improving no cash payment in Vietnam transport.
